World of Dreams: Takarazuka Performance at Cornish

Sunday

Cornish Playhouse

4:30pm

We are excited to announce a rare performance by four former members of the prestigious Takarazuka Revue. They will perform pieces from the revue's iconic production, Rose of Versailles, as well as traditional Japanese dance (nihon buyou). As former members, Erina Mariho, Rei Ayaka, Nanami Shihou and Mayura Tama have undergone rigorous singing, dancing and performance training. Considered a theater company unique to Japan, state-side performances by current and former members are extremely rare. See our performers below and discover the "World of Dreams"!

*Shown in descending order of graduation and grade year at the Takarazuka Training Academy:

Erina Mariho, Rei Ayaka, Nanami Shihou, and Mayura Tama.*
