The Messrs. Takeda are cousins belonging to the famous Takeda clan of the pre-eminent Kanze School, which dates back to the 1300s. They share a distinguished lineage populated with Noh
masters, including several “National Living Treasures.” Both began their Noh training as toddlers and are today two of Japan’s most popular young Noh performers. Passionate about sharing Noh's
beauty, poetry, and universal themes, they have given numerous performances and workshops around the world to new and young audiences.
