Yoshindo Yoshihara 吉原義人

Mr. Yoshihara comes from an unbroken line of Japanese swordsmiths since the Edo period (1600-1868). The Nihon Bijutsu Token HozonKyokai (日本美術刀剣保存協会：NBTHK) or Society for the Preservation of the Japanese Sword is the internationally recognized authority on Japanese art swords and they classify Mr. Yoshihara’s work as mukansa, meaning “above judgment”. This status places his works in annual ranked competitions among master swordsmiths above the fray for their beauty and impeccable technique.　　Mr. Yoshihara is a member of International Samurai Association.
